Background and Objectives
This project aims to modernize the cultural sector in Azerbaijan by shifting to a more strategic management model. It involves updating regulations, strengthening institutional capacities, and introducing innovative governance models to improve heritage valorisation and tourism promotion.
Activities
- Reviewing existing legislation and developing recommendations for a new regulatory framework.
- Conducting institutional analyses to identify European best practices suitable for the local context.
- Providing targeted capacity building and training for government personnel.
