Background and Objectives
The project is designed to strengthen the operational and oversight capacities of Ukraine’s State Service for Maritime, Inland Waterway Transport and Shipping by enhancing maritime safety and ensuring compliance with international and EU standards.
Activities
- Establishing an institutional twinning program between Italy and Ukraine.
- Reviewing and updating regulations and implementing audit procedures.
- Providing technical and organizational training for operational staff.

- Enhanced inspection and monitoring capabilities.
